AECOM
An eleven-year-old Annual Review rebuilt around 250 survey responses and six leader interviews, then broken into a five-theme content runway and launched at two events, in Belfast and Dublin.
Objective
AECOM’s 2020 Ireland Annual Review brought together survey findings and interviews addressing social impact, sustainability, investment and smarter infrastructure.
The creative challenge was to make a dense, evidence-led report feel authoritative and accessible, then extend its visual logic beyond the publication into a coherent launch campaign.
Creative response
The review was designed around five themes, each with a visual treatment capable of working as a report chapter, a standalone article and a social asset.
Publication design, information hierarchy and campaign content were developed as one system. Survey findings, long-form interviews and complex infrastructure themes could therefore sit together without the report becoming visually dense or institutional.
The system extended across the finished publication, digital content, social assets and launch materials for events in Belfast and Dublin.
Results
The completed Annual Review brought together 250 survey responses, six industry interviews and five themes. Its visual system extended across the publication, standalone articles, social assets and launch materials for events in Belfast and Dublin.
