Disney
Objective
Disney Destinations International markets Disney's parks and resorts to the travel trade. Teams across markets produce presentations constantly, and every one of them carries the most tightly governed brand in the world.
The problem with brand governance at that scale is not the rules; it is that the rules are ignored the moment they make someone's job harder. A template only works if using it correctly is easier than not.
Creative response
- A PowerPoint template system.a true Office template, not a deck to copy
- A theme file. , so the colour and type system travels independently of the layouts
- A title slide and colour palette. Built out in InDesign alongside the Office assets
- Worked from client reference. Existing DDI, Disneyland Paris 20th and DLP Eurostar decks were supplied and used as the basis for the system

The template was adopted as the internal standard. Disney Destinations International teams use it to build their own presentations, which is the only outcome a template system can actually be judged on: not whether it was liked, but whether it became the thing people reach for.
