WMA
A retained public affairs account with a publishing cadence: a journal, a weekly policy tracker, EU regulatory monitoring and the diagrams that made Brussels legible to UK wealth managers.
Objective
The Wealth Management Association represented UK investment managers through a period when most of the rules affecting them were being written in Brussels: MiFID II, FATCA, the FSCS regime.
Members needed that translated: not summarised after the fact, but tracked continuously and explained in a form a busy practitioner would actually read.
Creative response
Design and publication support on a retained account with a fixed rhythm: a weekly call, a weekly tracker, a periodic journal.
The distinguishing feature of this account is cadence. It was not a project; it was a standing publishing operation.
- The WMA Journal. The association's flagship member publication
- EU Week Ahead. Continuous regulatory monitoring, presented for a UK practitioner audience
- The EU process diagram. A 'Level 1' explainer making the European legislative process navigable, the kind of diagram that gets reused for years
- Regulatory explainers. FATCA updates, FSCS material and event support
- The 2016 Annual Report. Plus infographics and Wider Share Ownership Council material
